Stunning, Remodelled Cottage, Picturesque Location

perfect, loved the cottage, only thing missing is a washing machine but otherwise excellent,

Area, enclosed garden for the dog. log burner and totally chilled feel of the place.

Took a while for the the log burner part of the heating to warm up. Just means that we needed to get up a bit earlier to get the bathroom radiator heating.

Loved the location, the cleanliness, the provisions of wood, tea bags, coffee, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, wine on arrival. Presigned into an amazon account! 3pm check in time was spot on. Bought fresh eggs locally. Travel cot provided which was a really nice size one!

Really happy with everything these are more suggestions on how the stay could be improved for future guests. Towels are small, larger bath towels preferred. Instructions for storage heaters would be useful for those not able to figure it out. General TV signal was patchy. An 11am check out time would have been a bit more relaxing. Curtains for the doors in the diner/lounge would add a cozier feel. A lock for the bathroom door would be handy as only one bathroom, not an issue for a family of 2 adults and a baby but could be an issue for 6 adult guests.

Pictures match Cottage. Excellent location and accommodation. Good facilities and comfortable. You need your own transport but plenty parking.

Lovely location. House is warm and cosy although the bathroom was cold as the radiator only came on when the fire was on so in the morning it was cold. Loved that there was a table large enough for us all to sit it. BBQ was great and would have loved to have tried the firepit but the weather wasn’t great for that. Rooms are big and there is plenty of space for everyone.

Few niggly things. The knives were very blunt and could hardly cut anything with them and there was no corkscrew. The sofa wasn’t very clean and stained and not comfortable at all.

A lot of space in the house and garden. The garden was fenced off so our dog was free to roam. The location on a clear night has views that rival the Galloway dark skies park, we saw hundreds of stars! Wine was provided along with access to Netflix and other streaming services.
