There was nothing to not like

Charming property, fantastic location and parking space included which is a huge plus in Lyme Regis. Cosy old cottage lovely character as such a little on the compact side but just part of the age of the property. Our family of 4 with 2 children aged 7 and 5 would eagerly visit again.

A bit tight on space to dry any clothes during wet winter weather and no tumble dryer, but the small washing machine was handy.

Location is really good

It was very dusty and grubby in places sadly, I’m assuming we payed over the usual price for a last minute bank holiday weekend but even so it was not worth almost 700 for two nights, there was a layer of dust around the upstairs remote and shelf the shower was grubby, my other half had just come out of hospital so spent a bit of time cleaning around,sofa unclean, there was no welcome basket/items like some have stated. Apart from a sponge and black bag and tea towel and some past customers random sugars gathered from Cafes etc I hate writing negatives but if this had been a cheapy last minute thing I would have cleaned and just got on with it but for the price it was frustrating to say the least

Great central location. Quiet and not too hot upstairs (despite the corrugated iron roof). Good parking.

It was in a convenient location. Onsite parking good. Well equipped kitchen.

Bathroom very cramped. Shower not big enough for a 6ft man. The water in the shower constantly changed from very hot to cold during shower. Main bedroom cramped. Living room furniture was poor.

Lovely and clean. Super cute with the Christmas trees and fairy lights. Had a lovely time staying for Christmas

My 2 minor things are that there were no teabags which when arriving Christmas Eve made it a bit difficult to get anymore. And the second is just that the temperature in the shower is incredibly temperamental, one minute it’s scolding and the other freezing.
