Cleve Cottage

Excellent location. Some lovely touches, board games, a bag of welcoming treats, tea bags, coffee, milk, toilet roll. Travel coffee mugs available to use. Really helped when arriving late at night with kids! Loved the Christmas tree that was put up too - felt very welcoming. A lovely place to stay.

Location excellent! Cottage had everything we needed. Having the garden and parking space was invaluable.

Bathroom very small, not much storage space for clothes.

Took a while to understand heating. My mum is short and couldn't reach the microwave. Didn't understand rubbish collection Garden a little uncared for. We watered the plants. The seagulls!

Accommodation was cramped even for 2 people. No Welcome Pack on arrival. We decided to leave after one night.

This cottage is a sweet little detached house just behind the famous fossil shop at the bottom of the hill in Lyme, with parking. It was perfect for the town and the beaches. It was also excellent for us, 2 adults and our little grandchild. It would have been a squash for many more, though in the small bedroom there was a child's bed plus a full sized single bed. In the main bedroom, a good sized double bed. The kitchen was adequate and well fitted out, fine for cooking most dishes - oven and hob. Sitting room with small dining table for four was a squeeze but worked perfectly. The hot water system, which you have to remember to switch on when you arrive, worked perfectly. The location is spectacular and having parking a very major plus. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Nothing really. Notes: Please supply a chopping board! A couple of things went wrong and the repairs were effected immediately! Very impressive service.
