Furlong Cottage @ Higher Stancombe Farm

The most incredible cottage, a real home away from home just exceptionally nicer than home haha. I didn't want to leave, truly. Such a wonderul hostess too. Heated floor in the bathroom! Devine!

A really lovely place in a rural location. Perfect for touring the area and coming back to such a lovely base.

Great accommodation, had everything we needed for our break. Spacious bedroom, living area and lovely shower room. Very nice quality furnishings, bedding and towels. Plenty of crockery, glasses etc to allow us to prepare meals .

This is just a personal preference not a dislike but for us the bed was a bit soft but by no means a complaint.

Is located along a labyrinth of one track lanes so if you don't like driving along tiny lanes with minimal passing options this wouldn't be a good place to stay. Check-in was unclear and communication with owner can be slow

Everything it was perfect, inside and outside it had a lovely little enclosed garden and on the other side of the fence there were chickens and allotment then open fields and you can see the sea in the distance as well!
