Dove House Cottages - No 2

Lovely cottage north of Oxford. Bus every 20 mins only a 15 min walk away to get to city centre. Fresh eggs which was a nice touch. Right outside an old church which bells rang regularly.

Didn’t like the wet room a practical shower would be better. Had to move the bed slightly as kept walking into it in way to bathroom and ceiling is low as you walk downstairs, so we put out a reminder so didn’t bang our heads which was an easy solution.

The location was great, with lovely views. The cottage was clean comfortable and homely.

Clean and as pictures stated, we had eggs from the chickens that they have which was a nice touch

Bed was very uncomfortable and even broke during our stay, they did a quick fix. It says it has inclosed gardens for dog but defiantly NOT inclosed. At the back of the garden is a main busy road and had a gate open for our whole stay. Did not let our dog off the lead once

The location is wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. The cottage is extremely well equipped. The hosts are quick to respond. I have stayed here a few times now and will stay here again.

It was a great little cottage in a lovely area. We stayed at this property as we were going to Blenheim Palace, which was only 20 minutes away. There is a lovely little pub a 2 minute walk.

We stayed there on a really hot day, but the owners don't leave you with the patio key so the property was very warm.
