The Anchorage - sea views and beach on doorstep

The location is perfect and Amble is a very interesting place. There was everything you need and the furnishings and decor were excellent, the dining room was lovely and big perfect for eating (many portions of amazing fish and chips) but also for playing games, the kitchen was very well equipped too. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathroom was lovely. The garden was also a lovely addition and handy for the dogs.

Just needed another comfy sofa

Location was perfect for us, near enough to everything we wanted to do. Very close to Amble Harbour for a stroll too, and sea views. Amazing. The house was immaculate, really spotless and had every thing we needed. Quality furnishings and beautifully decorated. Lovely bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Cake and scones in the kitchen on arrival, what a lovely gesture!

The bed was not the comfiest, maybe coud do with a new mattress or a topper.

Great location for all of the nearby places to visit such as Warkworth, Alnwick, Alnmouth, Beadnell Bay and Seahouses. House is homely and has lovely quirky decor throughout. Close to Amble centre, just a couple of minutes walk away. A lovely cake and scones welcomed us when we arrived.

Price for Monday to Friday was quite expensive but not more expensive than anything else we looked at around the Northumberland coast.
