Aintree Lodge - Hot Tub - Northumberland

Loved everything . Couldn’t fault a single thing

Aintree lodge was a lovely weekend getaway as a couple! It had everything we needed in the lodge and the hot tub was a major bonus, with great stargazing on a night time! Affordable and clean! We will be returning😊

Hot tub was amazing, kids absolutely loved it. Bathroom was gorgeous. Lovely cosy feel to the lodge.

Floors hadn’t been cleaned, oven wasn’t the best. Beds weren’t very comfortable but think that’s because we’re use to a super king size

Good location, and cosy. Beds were comfy and the central heating was lovely especially in winter. Quiet little site which is good, The Hot tub was a bonus!

When arrived we noticed cob webs all over, and dust around on lights and furniture etc. The floor was dirty, you couldn’t walk around without any socks on or slippers, there was dog hair everywhere. The floors need a good sweep and mop. The blinds in both bathrooms were dirty too and had stains all over, the vent in the bathroom was dusty. Oven wasn’t very powerful and took longer to cook things, the door was hard to shut too. The top drawer in the freezer, wasn’t opening due to being so icy, the freezer needed defrosting. The decking outside was really unsturdy leading up to the front door, and especially outside it was dipped and seemed unsafe to walk. Regardless we still had a lovely time :)

Had the basics for our short stay

: as dog friendly surprised no gates/fenced off area : A few light bulbs indoors and out need replacing : shower in en-suite leaked as we had to ensure it was firmly turned off : single beds very uncomfortable for adults : oven door doesn’t shut well & gas keeps going out :outside settee dangerous & seems beyond repair : rickety steps up to home : fridge dirty

Smelt like wet dog Wasnt clean dust everywhere/ settee had marks up it like dog slaver or drinks spilled Marks on walls, floor and settee was full of crumbs and hairs Furniture broken coffee table / outdoor chairs bath hot tap was cold / both toliet seats broken not worth the money we paid for 2 nights
