Unicorn Cottage

The house was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The shower was good and there was plenty of hot water when we needed it. The house was warm and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped. My friend said the mezzanine room was better than it looked in the pictures and she was quite comfortable in there and didn't have major trouble with the headroom. Parking nearby was easy. An advantage of the parking restriction is that there aren't lots of cars coming and going. Access from the village to the 'main' roads and countryside was good. I would stay there again.

The heating tiimer didnt seem to be working so we operated it manually when we needed it. The left button on the oven was dodgy and we struggled to turn off the oven after using it. It would have been nice to have a decent size coffee table in the middle of the living room.

The location, and the property are lovely. Spoke to the owner and she was extremely nice too.

This has nothing to do with the property or the owner. Just taxis in the location were impossible to get hold of, one was booked and didn't turn up, others didn't answer. So rather than a complaint, this is advice, pre-book well in advance if you need to head into the town.

dat me kinderen het huisje geweldig vonden

-dat er geen openhaard in zit, maar een elektrisch kachel met nep vlammen. -waar de kinderen slapen al het geluid van de woonkamer hoorbaar is. dat is wel onhandig echter geeft dit wel het huisje zijn open en ruimtelijke karakter. het zou afbreuk doen aan het huisje als dit zou worden aangepast.

The location and the cottage were amazing. It was clean, tidy and comfortable

The other cottages had chairs and tables outside, however there were none for the cottage we stayed in. Also no WiFi and very limited phone coverage so it made communication a bit awkward at times, however these were only used on a couple of occasions so didnt present too much of an issue
