Unicorn Cottage

Well located for Bakewell, where we were taking part in a hiking event

The cottage is a little compact for 4 adults and would better suit two people. Unfortunately the hot water didn't reheat on the automatic program and we were unable to get any hot water on the 2nd evening or the following morning. We had to resort to showering in cold water.the morning of our departure.

The cottage was lovely and clean, beautifully finished and lovely location.

The only way could’ve improved was some outdoor seating like the other cottages

Great location for walking. Cottage was cosy and warm.

We arrived late and had forgotten our tea bags and it would have been lovely if there had been a small amount in the cottage as there isn’t a shop. Luckily the local pub helped us out.

It is in a stunning location with fantastic walks straight from the door.

It is small and with poor circulation space for 4 adults. More suited to a couple or young family. The skylights had no blinds so we were woken early but the daylight. You will need to bring all your own supplies including tea and coffee and even salt and pepper!

Lovely cottage, homely and had very happy weekend.

Location good- we have visited Bakewell on several occasions. Property spotless, bed comfortable Kitchen well supplied Good shower

The beds and space on the mezzanine floor need addressing. One bed under a main beam, which you have to slide under to get in. Again, you have to navigate your way out, an accident waiting to happen. Not a functional space, cramped.
