Poppy at Oakdene Forest Park

Property was very old, cobwebs everywhere There was no toilet paper when we arrived. Staff on site were rude.

Nothing, the sleeping beds were very small, the property was smelling, not clean, in horrible condition, we didn’t sleep the whole night due to the beds were very uncomfortable, it’s sad how much money they asked for.

Nothing it’s was worse caravan I’ve ever slept in no dogs seem like dog owned it mold smelt bad .. no heating no tv very outdated £400 for two nights worth around £60 in my eyes owner made me 9 year old son cry due to not able to go swimming and was asked 30 questions before give the code to caravan!! Pls avoid for disappointment!! Seriously I tried to cancel but was few £288 if I did 60% of the asking price … very rude customer service.. no towels no nothing just sofa and bad smell !! I’ve never been this shocked all Family was upset and wrecked our bank holiday if I’d not drove for 3 hours I’d turned around !! Owner couldn’t made it any harder for us and the stay was abysmal pls stay away

Oakdene forest park was located well for our needs

Switched TV on to find 'no signal' only to be told that you have to stream through apps which none worked. TV remote control didn't have a battery cover and half of the back was broken off. Informed the host who brought another one over, this one had gotten damp in the box and the sealed batteries were corroded. Integral freezer door was not connected to the cupboard door which made it difficult to open. I had to wash all pots and dishes before we could use them as they were all grimey. The front door didn't close properly and took me nearly 5 minutes to get it to lock as it wouldn't align. All the radiators were rusty, the bathroom one especially. The entire caravan is very dated and the cost of renting it for 3 nights was way more than it should've been for what it is. Will definitely not be coming back
