Charming Summerhouse Annexe in lush gardens in Fowey

The location of this property is superb in the beautiful village of Fowey. There is a short but steep walk back from the village which I enjoyed as by the end of our stay I was skipping back up the hill. Did me the world of good! The Annexe is comfortable and provides everything you need and more. The bed was so cozy I loved it! We ate in the village the majority of the time but one night we bought delicious food from the village deli and ate in the property watching TV. Perfect end to a very active day exploring Cornwall. My husband, our dog and I would 100% recommend this property to a couple who love active days and restful nights. Thank you for providing us with a great place to rest each evening.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

Location Parking Generally a nice place ..but with many issues .

Accommodation in need of maintenance /cleaning Floors need polishing Damp bathroom due to room construction and lack of extraction fan ( We were told they use a dehumidifier inbetween rentals ) Mouldy shower screen seal Broken window blind Light switches broken Pans dirty /chipped Windows in need of a clean ( we were told window cleaners come once every 8 weeks ) despite it being a ground floor unit Internet not sufficient strength for interruption free ( buffering ) of the TV Outside bench covered in lichen and not able to be used ..a shame as the privatecourtyard/garden was nice ( patio could do with a jet wash though ) .Outside table we cleaned ..full of mould . Our comments met with off hand remarks from the manager..such as Its normal wear and tear ! Member of staff who visited ,( responsible for these units ) took no ownership of any of the issues .

Everything, especially the location. Nice and clean. Short walk into Fowey.

Could do with a few minor repairs. Otherwise absolutely perfect

The location is excellent – right next to the beach, with beautiful views, nearby restaurants, and great hiking opportunities. The apartment is spacious, very clean, with a comfortable bed and a large, well-equipped kitchen – perfect for cooking during a short stay. The only drawback is that there was no wardrobe for clothes. Overall, a really great place to stay, I would definitely come back and recommend it to others!

Great location, quiet, clean and tidy, car parking was great and inclusive EV charging was a bonus.

Wardrobe in the bedroom instead of a clothes hanging rail would be better. The bedroom chest of drawers were faulty, and wouldn’t open and close properly, bathroom door was split, and bathroom felt very tired. WiFi was only via a 5G modem and wasn’t great as it buffered streaming services a lot. A pint of milk in the fridge on arrival would have been appreciated.

Quality of furnishings, bedroom in particular Poor decoration. Didn’t like bathroom, dismal. The place felt shabby.

It was quiet, beautiful gardens and lovely locations The place had everything and more including dishwasher tablets, clothes and more.

The Towel were very worn, bathroom floor looked moldy and not very nice. Don’t underestimate the walk up the hill to and from the town. One small thing was the gaps in bushes as the dogs kept escaping through.

Location, cleanliness and it had everything you needed and more. Also contact with owners was excellent from start to finish.

It was very near Fowey which is a lovely town and great communication from the owner

Central but peaceful location. Free onsite parking a fantastic bonus in Fowey. Nice to have a small private outdoor area. Main bed comfortable with quality linen and towels.

Sofa bed less comfortable. Kitchen equipment adequate but no ‘extras’ like milk left.
