Peacock Cottage, Coity Bach

The location, the staff, the view and the animals. The staff were really accommodating, they helped us with any problems. They gave advice and helped feed the animals.

The views were stunning.The hot tub was a bonus.

The owners dogs/cats tended to wander into the property randomly.

Needs a little maintenance

Stopped 1 night to breakup the journey home and it was a highlight of holiday. Beautiful views, lots of room for my large family, table chairs to eat outside and enjoy the location, hot tub, nice shower etc. We arrived without any food for the evening and bought fresh produce from Coity Bach farm for our evening meal burgers, sausages, eggs etc. Kids loved watching the peacock. Ceri brought the tortoise round to show the kids. Looking forward to returning.

Staff and location was nice.

The premises was not fully clean, floor, kitchen, and especially inside the oven. They did not turn on the heating in the house by we got there, so it took hours to reach a normal temperature indoors. The water in the jacuzzi was definetely not changed for a while. The despcription says that this is a luxurious apartment, but the interuour is definetely average. There is NO sauna in contrary to the description, the hosts kindly explained to me that the term sauna is for the steam function of the shower cabin. This is very misleading. The heating was not working in one of the rooms, but thankfully there was an electric heater, so we could solve this. But! By morning the whole heating stopped in the house so we should have made an eaten our breakfast in a very cold house. We informed the hosts but no reaction. There were some prepared eggs on the top of te microwave, one of them was zapped! That means that they were there for ages! I would strongly advise that guests should be well informed about that cats that are absolutely got used to the inside of the apartman, they slip through the door every time it is open, and they settle into the guests' freshly made bed without any problems. The peacock should be also in the description, which settles on the railing centimeters from the front door. It didn't cause a problem for me, but it might be scary for others. The upper level of the building has a roof that makes the room extemely tight for that sofa and 2 beds. This is not suitable for a room for 2, but even not for one. One bathroom would be absolutely not enough for 6 people, thank god we were only 3.
