Jims Cottage

Easy access with parking outside the cottage. Very much as described a modernised 2 up 2 down cottage with a bathroom downstairs. Big garden with furniture and Barbecue. living room with fold away table and chairs. 2 large bedrooms and fully equipped modern kitchen.

Very steep stairs (but this was highlighted in the description) Low doorways. It is a 15 minute walk into town.

Lovely quiet cottage close to town and bus stop nearby for trips to Sheringham, Cromer and Norwich. No problems with parking so loading and unloading car was easy. Very enjoyable stay.

Steep staircase and downstairs bathroom caused issues at night but we were aware of this.

Very clean property, quiet location

Having to unblock the drains and clear a huge back up of sewage. Not having any welcome items, low value things like milk and some biscuits

Lovely cottage which met our expectations. Cosy living area with a modern kitchen. Kitchen appliances all easy to use and in working order (always a bonus in my experience). Super clean throughout. Parking was easy with plenty of room outside the cottage. Short walk into the centre of Holt (approx 10 mins). Hosts gave us all the information we needed in good time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Only downside was bathroom being downstairs but not really a huge problem.

Perfect location for visiting Norfolk

A cracking little find. This is just what it is, a quaint oldy world cottage and it excels as such. It isn't a 5 star luxury designer home, so if you want the latest style and a price tag to boot, look elsewhere. If you're wanting quirky, old style comfort and charm at a good price, then Jim's Cottage is for you. It has everything you need, from comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen to a crackling wood burner. A good size garden at the rear with a brick built barbecue and garden furniture kept in the out house. Superb and I can't fault it for what it is. Great location too being a 5 minute stroll into Holt centre as well as being in easy reach of the coast.

The cottage is cozy and comfortable, with everything you need for a few days away. The kitchen is new and stocked with everything you might need and the bed is super comfortable. Its a 10 minute walk into Holt, which is a lovely place to explore and a convenient base from which to explore the coast.

Not a major problem, but it would be great if towels were supplied.
