Mawgan Pads Perranporth

The home was exceptional, must have only seen a few families before our trip as everything was very clean and looked new. Its layout was very modern and the showers!were full size, none of this compact caravan setup. The unit we had was in Holywell view and yes it had a view straight at Holywell beach.

We didn’t really dislike anything. The only thing we didn’t use was the site’s facilities bar and restaurant so different to say if they were good or bad.

Closeness to swimming pool and kids play area. Bathrooms and kitchen facilities were very good.

Seating was uncomfortable and cushions needed washing. Understandable it is dog friendly but Seating and cushions were smelling a bit doggy. For the size of the living room instead of the daybed style sofa a couple of stand-alone sofas would be excellent.

Mawgan Pads is a large, well equipped, clean and beautifully presented place. We noticed that each room including bathroom and both bedrooms are all of a good size, not cramped like some vans. Master has a large bed and separate toilet. Lovely large rooms! Location fantastic. Communication was excellent!

Good base for exploring the area. Very good communication with owners with prompt replies to queries. Easy to find. I would stay there again.

Poor EE telephone reception, though that's the same with most of Cornwall. WiFi in caravan very patchy but to be fair this was communicated by the owners (it is on a Vodafone mobile signal), but there was sufficient WiFi in the bar area where I was able to download a film.
