Bit tricky to find

The location is central to a lot of the sights we like to go to in cornwall. the whole booking process was very straightforward.

The single beds mattresses weren’t the best

We liked the area as plenty of beaches nearby and shops. Liked the decoration of the place. liked the location of lodge on the site. quiet.

directions not clear to find the lodge. no helpful signposts. the number of lodge was not clear to see/missing. key retrieval from box ok, but actual key in door was a fiddle to open. there was no welcome tea/coffee stuff and only a very basic welcome pack which wasn't obvious to see. the fridge/freezer was leaking creating a puddle on the floor, dishwasher door did not close, there were flies in the shower, dead and alive plus a very large wasp thing flying around, bathroom door handle was falling off so once the door shut it needed to be opened from the outside.

It was just the perfect stay. Our dogs absolutely hate the fireworks so we wanted to be out the way and this destination was perfect. So clean and homely. Due to the poor weather we stayed in the accommodation for prolonged periods which meant relaxing in the lounge and the only thing I found was the couch was a bit uncomfortable however this didn’t ruin anything for us. The internet was most probably the best we’ve ever had when we have stayed in a caravan. The destination was perfect and only a stones throw away from perranporth beach and town. Please note that out of season there was no food being served and no onsite shop but there is local shops. The bar was only open 5pm till 10pm which was a bit of a shame as it was advertised as open with entertainment until the 6th of November but there wasn’t any entertainment. Bad man was lovely and chatty and made us feel welcome and the bonus was the dogs could go in the bar. Didn’t use the swimming pool but looked lovely and there was families using it and looked like they were enjoying themselves. Accommodation was immaculate and we will definitely be staying again in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay. P.s could you put a spatula Ron the kitchen to fry eggs lol.

No shop onsite and the fact there was no entertainment or food being served in the bar.
