Mawgan Pads Perranporth

The property itself was lovely. Very spacious, very clean tidy and very well laid out. With an added bonus of an ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom. A nice surprise was that both the single beds were really good size. Cooking facilities were excellent and a nice extra bonus of having towel supplied for you which meant you didn’t have to pack them. We also had the use of an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer for our own use. We didn’t use these but it was nice to know that they were supplied for us. We also had the option of using the hoover, washing machine and dishwasher, we didn’t need to use this but it was nice to have the option if needed. The Wi-Fi worked well and there was beautiful views across the Hollywell Bay. I cannot fault the caravan at all.

The only fault with the property was that the bedroom handle was broken. This was reported to the owner and she is getting this fixed.

The caravan was modern, had all the equipment we needed, beds were super comfy and showers were powerful. The site was quiet, which is ideal for couples/those seeking a tranquil stay. The hosts were very responsive, and helpful. Ease of access on arrival. Convenience store a short drive from the site. Beach is a 10 min drive from the site, and was fabulous, with very active lifeguards which put my mind at ease with young children in the sea.

The website indicated entertainment was available on evenings, but on arrival Guest Services advised that this was only available on Saturday nights (and we checked out on Sat). The swimming pool has to be booked, and we didn't manage to get a suitable time slot during our 4 night stay so were unable to enjoy this advertised facility. The onsite bar was run down, and very expensive and the info pack said there was a shop onsite, which there wasn't. So location and facilities outside the caravan were not as described on website which was very disappointing. The door handle to main bedroom was broken; turned 360 degrees from inside only (we got stuck in the room once, and had to exit via the patio doors). There was a broken drinking glass in the cupboard on arrival and some rubbish in the main bathroom drawers. The kitchen hob centre ring doesn't stay lit, will turn on for about 10 seconds and then flame blows out, despite gas continuing to flow.

Absolutely loved the holiday home, stunning views, clean and comfortable, really couldn't have asked for more. Would highly recommend this holiday home.

The site itself didn't really have alot on it. No shop, the arcade needs updating, there was a pool but very disappointed it closes at 4, would be nice to come home from a long day and pop there for a swim. Staff were OK, not the most welcoming. Not alot for kids to do.

Everything was just perfect. Very clean, attention for details. The house is modernly furnished and fully equipped for all needs.

Very easy to find with clear instructions. Caravan was spotless and a lovely quiet resort despite it being the end of half term holidays . Very dog friendly . Convenient club house with decent food served in the restaurant, and a lovely pub within walking distance . Good location to explore all parts of Cornwall .
