Purves Cottage

Everything was excellent. Comfortable, well equipped, pet friendly, lovely welcome basket, helpful host and a lovely village with walks and a great pub. We really enjoyed our stay.

Large & comfortable cottage with all the amenities provided as well as thoughtful added extras from the hosts. Peaceful location, yet a short drive to many towns either side of the border. Very dog friendly with great walks!

Not a dislike, just a heads up for anyone bringing older dogs, there are 3 steep(ish) steps to the enclosed garden, so they may need help if they struggle jumping/climbing - I used my sling to help my old boy 😊

The accommodation was excellent and spacious. This enabled the four of us to fully relax. The location meant we had close proximity by car to beautiful countryside and border facilities. We stayed 3 nights and managed long walks at the coast and along the river Tweed. We also spent time in Berwick.

What a beautiful little cottage in a quiet village. The decor and furniture were amazing and we felt right at home immediately. The host is lovely and the garden is a very tranquil place to relax. Top marks for the bath as well, very luxorious. Overall we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay for a few nights. The local area is great as well and North Berwick is highly recommended. I'm sure we will be back again.
