Purves Cottage

Beautiful cottage with all you need! We should have stayed longer as I could imagine this cottage is ideal for families for at least a week. Lots of games and cosy fireplaces etc. Beautiful wine glasses - which is always a big plus for me!

Self catering, location superb visited Kielder, Paxton house and great coastal walks along Berwick. The cottage was perfect in everyway couldn’t fault it and pet friendly, showed up other accommodations we have had the misfortune to visit. Great staging post for our return home to Shetland. Hope to return, big thank you.

Quiet location, fantastic hosts, great facilities, pub on your doorstep. Lovely walks with the dog within reach of picturesque villages, towns and beaches. Goodies on arrival incl wines, milk, huge local eggs, jams, croissants and biscuits, all very welcome after our journey.

The whole place was great in a lovely little village with a great pub which served great food. The house was spotless and very well presented. The kitchen and bathroom definitely has the wow factor. We defo will be back

Very comfortable and well appointed.. Lovely high ceilings and feeling of space.

Only small gripe is that the internet connection wasn’t great, but that’s probably the providers fault.

Location & the size of the cottage. Cottage has everything you need & very spacious. Owner lives behind the cottage & are very welcoming but not intrusive. Would definitely return
