Great Lilly Cottage

Very quiet location. A hamper with fresh farm eggs on arrival was lovely and although there were a few problems with equipment going wrong, the hosts responded immediately to fix them. Very rural but only 10 minutes from Barnstaple and not far from Arlington Court with its lovely house and gardens.

I found access to the property a bit scary as narrow and there were a number of potholes, particularly returning in the dark the first evening. Also the tv seemed rather quirky with no access to some channels the first evening but this seemed to resolve itself by the following morning.

The main entrance door was warped and let cold air into the bedroom.

Cottage was lovely.

Feather duvet and WiFi didn't work well.

A lovely cottage, sympathetically converted and comfortably furnished by the hosts, Kate and Ali. Perfect for a relaxing stay and ideally located with views across rolling countryside, but so convenient for Barnstaple and N.Devon attractions, beaches, etc. Always a pleasure to be greeted by the inquisitive alpacas next to the driveway and the curious calves in the field nextdoor!

Impossible to dislike anything about this cottage!

The cottage was perfect , home from home . So quiet and peaceful . The cottage had everything you needed . Our dogs loved the garden

Cozy and well thought out cottage. Everything you could need and nice additional touches and a welcome hamper.

Pillows a bit hard but I'm hard to please where pillows go The driveway in, maybe a note on the details as very narrow and difficult to turn for large vehicles. Potholes
