Gorgeous, comfortable cottage with field to exercise our dogs.

We liked all of it.

I loved opening the curtains in the mornings to see a beautiful sunrise and distant view of the mountains of Eryri/Snowdonia. Having a cup of tea outside whilst listening to the river was very relaxing. The bed was so comfortable and bedroom beautifully furnished. I had everything I needed in the kitchen and the lounge was cozy. Great location near to breathtaking sea and mountains!

The shower flow was slow but I’ve experienced this before in more rural properties and it didn’t take away from the fantastic experience I had at Samuel Cottage!

We loved how private it was, it was peaceful. The log burner was an asset. Lovely views. Great secure garden for our puppy. Lovely walks in the area.

Nothing to dislike

It was our mini honeymoon and it was just perfect. The view of the sunrise from the bedroom window was out of this world! A very spacious and comfortable cottage with a nice little morning walk around the fields next to the river. We are planning another trip soon.

The owner met us when we arrived and had the fire lit with a Christmas tree and lights on ! Not only that, there were some nice gifts, everything you needed in the kitchen was there. The bed was very comfortable, it was a cute cottage with several rooms. It was a perfect location to explore from. The views of Snowdonia from the kitchen were amazing, we enjoyed cups of tea outside watching the sunrise, very beautiful. We knew about the property as other Australian relatives stayed their probably 4 weeks earlier and recommended it. We stayed for 3 nights late November, it was quite chilly but perfect for warming fireplaces. The place was heated to a certain temperature, however this could be increased if you spoke with the hosts, we saw no need to. Your first load of timber is free, then there is a small charge for more timber, which we enjoyed. We were able to wash our clothes and used their dryer, which helped a lot. So many bookings we requested a fireplace and were presented with a "fake" fireplace, yes they heated but electric - we wanted the full experience. We plan to definitely visit again in a few years time, highly recommend it :)

Amazing cottage! Views outstanding. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable of surrounding areas. Very dog friendly.
