Bakers Cottage Ludham - Norfolk Broads

I think this was our fifth stay at Bakers Cottage so as you can tell, we love the place. It is cosy and immaculately clean with everything you need for a holiday getaway. Our hosts, Bridget and Michael are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful and just a phone call away if we need anything. We love the fact that there’s the village shop just across the road and the pub on the corner that does great food (especially the carvery on Sunday and Wednesday). And we love the freshly made scones and jam that Bridget kindly makes for our arrival as she does for all of the guests. We look forward to booking Bakers Cottage again.

Charming, compact cottage with everything you need for a long or short stay. The attention to detail is lovely and welcoming. Lots to do in the area and hosts have written a local.info pack with walks and ideas,which I made good use of.

Lovely thatched cottage in quiet but handy location. Great for a relaxing break near to norfolk broads & coastal beaches & villages.

Really sweet cottage, clean and well decorated, with everything we required. Very quiet, close to pub and great walks and bike trails. Host made us very welcome and communication was excellent

Excellent location, easy car parking, charming cottage. Handy to have a shop and pub very close. Nice to be met by the owner and shown around the cottage. We really appreciated the complimentary extras - delicious scones on arrival.

It was a lovely comfortable cottage set in a perfect location.

We were asked to message when half an hour away from the property and Michael, our host met us at the cottage and showed us around, explaining everything. He was so helpful and friendly. The cottage is in an excellent location, only a few miles from Potter Heigham where we were able to hire a day boat but also within easy reach of the coast if that's what you like to do. There is a lovely pub just a few steps away, and a village shop. The scones and jam that were baked by Bridget and left for us were delicious. All the facilities of the cottage were excellent. Lovely comfy bed, very nice bathroom. Cooker, fridge and freezer. Everything we could possibly need. There were some walks nearby which was very pleasant in the evenings. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to visit again.

There was nothing to dislike at all.

Had everything we needed in the cottage.Location was good, and there was lots to see and do without having to travel miles.The pub also was a plus, good food and friendly service, and people .

The road past the cottage was quite busy, but it was not a problem , quite at night.
