Thatched Cottage, beautiful village near the sea

Lovely cottage full of character and the owners left instructions and lots of amenities. Kitchen well stocked, nice garden. Otterton is a beautiful village on the river.

The stairs were a challenge! Very narrow and steep, not so easy for luggage or at night.

Considerably more space than expected. The kitchen and bathroom are very well provisioned. The stairs are manageable, unlike some character cottages Otterton Mill and the Kings Arms provide good food. The former more elegant and the latter more family orientated Very convenient for Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth

Nothing to dislike. The beds could be changed if you like a firmer mattress and more room to get around them if trying to slip to the bathroom quietly in the night.

Beautiful and comfy. Easy going in. My sister would like go again.

Being very picky, but a smart tv would be a nice upgrade for longer stays

Property full of character with good facilities. in ideal location for country walls, access to the sea and also for Bicton Arena. Very useful instructions in every room.
