The views were absolutely stunning. The cottage was beautifully equipped with everything we could want for our comfort. I loved the binder of information about the history of the family that owned the cottage. Attention to every detail was evident in each room. There was a separate dryer! A lovely gift basket of local treats was such a welcoming touch.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need in it including some lovely supplies for our arrival and soap, shampoo washing up liquid,all the things one can forget to bring! The location was perfect, beautiful surroundings.

The double bed was a little small for us,could have done with being a size bigger!

It was a brilliant stop to get away from hotel rooms and have a break to catch up on washing clothes. I loved being able to cook dinner and watch a movie. Everything we needed was there.

The shower could have had a little more pressure

The cottage is in the most stunning, peaceful location, perfect if you like isolation. We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived. Everything you need is provided in the cottage, the bed and furnishings are very comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The thoughtful owners left milk, free range organic eggs and organic biscuits which was great as we try always to stick to organic produce! There's a short walk down to a pebble beach and some good walks around Calbost. We only booked two nights and wished we'd been staying longer. We hope to return very soon.

Wonder, quiet location off the beaten track with a window on nature

Wifi but understandably flakey in this location

A very nice house, all to oneself; beautiful location; a fireplace, a welcome basket; all the necessary cooking facilities; all details are thought through.

The location is a bit hard to reach. One should keep in mind that the nearest open shop may be only in Stornoway, 42 miles away, half of the way is a winding single track road.
