Gatekeepers Lodge, Dyrham Park - Private & Self Contained, deluxe accommodation, 15 mins from Bath

It's a really lovely property. Very small, but more than enough for a short stay. The kitchen was plenty for the space, the wood burner was fantastic. The boiler unfortunately broke before we arrived, so it was absolutely freezing, (storm weekend December 24), but upon calling on owner the morning after we arrived, it was soon fixed, they couldn't have been more helpful which was very appreciated. The location is great, lovely and quiet. We'd love to go back one day.

Beautiful, cosy, peaceful and clean cottage. Absolutely loved our stay which was extremely special as it included a marriage proposal. Loved the Bose sound system. Great to have lovely walks on the doorstep and to walk to Dyrham Park. Fabulous Sunday roast at The Bull at Hinton.

A little sofa instead of the 2 armchairs would have made it even more cosy.

Narrow roads to property make it more difficult for new to England drivers.

Great location on the Cotswold Way. Clean, comfortable luxurious accommodation.

Lots of character, comfort and great location

Easy to find. Parking outside front door. Convenient location to visit Dryham Park (Up the path at the side of the cottage and turn left onto the lane or up the lane and through the church). Choice of courtyard and a terrace garden with fridge and freezer for drinks. The Bull at Hinton is twenty minutes walk or five minutes in the car. Food is amazing!! Every thing you need although, the kitchen area is small so you wouldn't want to cook Sunday lunch. Log burner with wood and fire lighters. You can connect your phone to the speakers in every room which has great sound quality. Bed very comfortable as well. Very enjoyable stay, even managed to sit outside in-between rain showers.

No toaster (but can use the grill in cooker) or electric kettle. Hob kettle takes a while to boil . Bathroom is a bit, cramped but clean and good shower Sink very tiny.
