Cosy cottage in a great location for exploring that part of the coast whether by foot or train. The cottage is warm and has a comfy bed, nice little kitchen and very good bathroom/shower.

Whilst Lympstone was great as a base to explore from, the village itself is now lacking in places to eat having two pubs/restaurants recently closing and leaving just the Swan Inn.

Cosy quaint little house in the middle of the village. Friendly villagers. Good local pubs. Easy to get to Exeter and Exmouth by train.

The village car park costs £8.80 per 24 hours, not £6, as mentioned in the information.

Well equipped accommodation.

Property is on a walk way so there is noise with people passing through.

Schöne zentrale Lage im Fischerdorf. Bequeme Betten, freundliche Gastgeberin.

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Verbesserungswürdige Kommunikation nur über Booking E-Mail. Telefonnummer der Vermieterin war ungültig. Die Eingangstür ist ein Witz. Der Wolf mit den 3 Schweinchen hätte die Tür mit starkem Pusten geöffnet. Kaltwasserhahn am Spülbecken macht sehr laute Klopfgeräusche. Ich kam mir vor, als ob ich in einem Trödelladen übernachte. Reinigung der Räume war ungenügend. Haare und Staubflusen in den Ecken und im Bad. Die Küchenausstattung war weniger als ausreichend. Die Teller waren teilweise angeschlagen, die Bratpfanne war vom billigsten Material. In der Mitte verzogen, nicht einmal Spiegeleier konnte ich damit braten. Ein riesiger Spiegel hing neben dem Bett. Ich hatte immer Angst, den beim Vorbeigehen herrunterzureissen. Duschen in der Badewanne war auch ein mühsames Geschäft. Leider auch Lärmbelästigung durch vorbeifahrende Züge. Großer gebührenpflichtiger Parkplatz gleich nebenan. Dadurch am Wochenende bis spät nachts lärmende Autofahrer die nach Hause wollten. Zum Parken braucht man die Ringo App, oder massenhaft Kleingeld! Nervige Angelegenheit für uns Ausländer. Es gibt auch kostenlose Parkplätze im Dorf. Man muss das nur wissen.

The location was noisy, the bedroom faces a walkway which is the main access to a public carpark so is both noisy and not Private. We were not informed that the rail line is very close by so that is also noisy. The cottage was not clean and the smell from having what we assume is dogs in the cottage leaves a terrible smell particularly after rain. This accommodation is very poor and the photos do not reflect how unclean it feels. Very dissatisfied customers 😞

Lympstone is very pleasant and the property is well located. Convenient for the car park.

The property has a doggy smell. Reviewers had mentioned the sofa (chaise longue), but I didn’t realise it’s not possible for two people to sit on it (no back to sit against).

Lovely little cottage right in the centre of the village.
