"Excellent"

Loved size of living room and kitchen, dining etc, bedrooms were a great size too. Closeness to Arthur’s Seat and dr Neil’s garden, easy enough to uber into the city. Host quick to respond to issues.

No tea towels. house was freezing when we arrived and boiler not working, thankfully got sorted fairly quickly but house took rather a while to warm up. Some of the Shower heads need a clean/ replacing. Most beds very comfy, bunk beds not so much.

Beautiful house. Great location.

Back garden was scruffy with old dining chairs and a desk dumped in it, which was disappointing.

We had a fantastic weekend at Lochside House this month. The house accommodated our group of friends well, with excellent accommodation and positioned in a great location, close to the parks, loch and Arthur’s Seat. Karen looked after us from the very beginning and helped us greatly with the arranging of our trip. Communication approaching our booking, during and after was exceptional, and Karen very kindly assisted us greatly with arrangements with our travel plans. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a good quality, spacious house for a group who are looking for both access into Edinburgh but to enjoy the scenic surroundings also.

The road through the park was shut for road works during our visit, which meant access into the city centre did take longer than usual, but with this open, the access would have been incredibly easy and made the house much more accessible.

"Comfort, great position, plenty of cutlery’s and utensils. Warm"

The house was roomy and comfortable. I loved it lived in feel. It felt like home. In a great position. Close to Edinburgh and Scotland’s oldest pub is 100m walk. (The Sheep Heid Inn)
