The Old Farm

The cottage is extremely cozy and comfortable. We loved the peace and quiet right in the heart of beautiful countryside.

Very peaceful and beautiful cottage full of character with nice welcoming treats/ cakes , fresh eggs , milk and a lots of other extras. Liza was helpful and a very nice host. Over all we all enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was cheery on the cake❤!!!

A lovely, cosy cottage with the optional use of a hot tub. Rooms were spacious and comfy and shower was lovely. Great location for long walks in the countryside with a good pub just 5moms walk away. Dogs were very welcome and we made use of the enclosed play area for them.

On arrival our host was there to hand over the keys and make us a cup of tea. She also provided scones with cream and jam and eggs from her hens for us to eat. Everything was clean and comfortable, the kitchen had absolutely everything needed to cook if necessary and an added bonus was the whirlpool bath.

Liza is so nice to greet us and guide us to the cottage. We had a wonderful time staying there.

Having the option to book both cottages gave us greater flexibility as we were a larger family group. Everything we needed was provided and the hot tub was a great addition for our weekend away. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome on arrival. The welcome pack, including home made cupcakes, was a lovely touch. The location was rural (which we prefer) and we enjoyed the walk from the cottages up to the top of May Hill.

We had nothing to dislike. However, the one bedroom cottage worked better for us overall as the kitchen diner was larger, as was the lounge.

The property was lovely and had everything you could need for a great holiday away from busy towns/cities. Couldn't recommend The Old Farm enough for dog owners, as the surprise use of the dog paddock (pictured) was great for our dog, who isn't usually able to be off lead. The host, Liza, was very welcoming and helpful if we had any queries. Gloucestershire is a calm and pretty location, we spent most of our days on long dog walks around the local hills and woodland, only short drives away. Lastly, we had a brilliant meal at the Farmers Boy Pub around the corner, highly recommend trying also.

Lovely welcome by Lisa. Cakes and fresh flowers awaiting us. All necessities provided even a jug of milk in the fridge. Added bonus Excellent pub with exceptional food within walking distance.
