"Peaceful and picturesque"

Was lovely to go old school and have someone greet us on arrival and give us a tour! The Piglets is much bigger than the photos suggest and is in a beautiful setting. The park and ride into York is only a few minutes drive away near the Leisure Centre, sports ground and retail park. Also a bus stop at the end of the drive. We would have loved to have spent more time in the property but were there for a wedding. Thank you for a great stay.

Couldn’t fault the place, it is lovely. The only thing I can think to improve on in the garden would be to have more comfortable furniture/sofa/loungers to relax in and enjoy the view. We are regular visitors to York, often on the way to the North East coast but usually have dogs with us so unfortunately it can’t be a regular stopover.

The place was spotless and warm. The location was great and near the bus stop into town. Nip gave us a lift into town on the first night and was very helpful. The bed was comfy and it was quiet.

The tv wasn't working although Nip was going to get it fixed. We like tv after being out all day. I didn't find the sofa comfy and that would be the only thing letting it down a bit as every other thing was perfect. I did have a bad back right enough.
