Cottage With Hot Tub in Pembrokeshire

Poorly maintained, dirty. Kerb appeal zero. Overflowing bins on arrival despite the fact that the day we arrived was the day all the bins were emptied. Floors and surfaces dirty. Cutlery and crockery needed washing before use. Lights didn't work. Beds a thorough disgrace.. No mattress and pillow protectors. Duvet and mattress stained. Pillows smelt of sweat. Bath leaked, hence leak into downstairs. Thick mould on internal blinds Garden gravelled. Full of weeds. Wooden furniture dirty and unusable. Hot tub at correct temperature but incorrect amount of bromine/ chlorine used. It caused an excessive amount of foam and bleached clothing plus tarnished jewellery, which now needs professional attention. Contacted the owner, but very little if anything was done.

Bookings says Towels however there was none, until we found them on last day in the washing machine. To be honest the house was dirty, stains in bathroom on walls greasy kitchen, sofa has stains don't open the grill it's not great. The bed is not comfortable but that can be down to personal choice The worse was yet to come upon stripping the bed when we were leaving the mattress was stained like someone had wet the bed and dried blood on duvet 🤢. I think more focus on cleaning is needed. Otherwise it's ok

It was dirty on arrival. The floors were sticky, there was mould in the downstairs toilet and on the front room ceiling which according to previous reviews was meant to of been fixed last year in March but it hasn’t. When we complained to the owner he did offer us a refund for one night however was a long way for us to travel to go back home so we did stay. Dirt had been swept behind the curtains. There was tissue paper under the double bed and a tablet which we were unsure what it was. In the upstairs bathroom there was a brown substance smeared down the bathroom wall which can only be described as faeces. The owner also told us he has never received a bad review however I can see many complaints through booking. The owner also asked me to leave a £10 cleaning fee for the cleaners in cash although this is not clear when booking via booking.com that he requires this and after the state it was found it was not happy to leave cash in the property for him.

This is a lovely little cottage within easy distance of so many beaches and attractions. The house is clean and exceptionally well equipped with everything that you need. The neighbourhood is quiet and there is a clearly marked parking space right by the front door. Good internet access and Alexa is on hand to play your favourite music! Happy to recommend this very comfortable little house to anyone wanting a short or longer stay in Haverfordwest. The hot tub was a real bonus; it was spotlessly clean and well maintained.

This property is exactly as described on the website and there were no unpleasant surprises. There is some road noise in the back garden but for a town house this did not in any way spoil our use of the lovely hot tub.

Wonderful clean house. Well-kept and fully equipped. Very nice owner. Interesting area.

Loved that our rescue apollo could come along with us and he felt relaxed in the home which was really nice to see

Nothing can't fault anything would recommend

Lovely, well equipped cottage, tucked away in a quiet location. ( Except the odd ambulance now and again due the hospital being located nearby). Local out of town shopping just a few minutes away, also, and close to town as well. Nice touch with the Christmas tree, by the way. Made the cottage feel homely and welcoming.

Key lock box not easy to find, or use, in dark and wet conditions. Front door sticking, quite hard to push open. Probably due to damp wood in door or frame causing swelling.
