Very clean cottage with great location in the town. Comfy bed and great bathroom.

Excellent location in the middle of Helmsley. Good facilities in the kitchen - with some tea and coffee. A well-equipped bathroom. Plenty of towels. Comfy beds

Beautiful cottage. Was immaculately clean and decorated. Had everything you could want during your stay and more. Located just next to the shops/pubs etc so very handy

Handy for the small town but situated on main road to Scarborough so lot of traffic noise at night if using twin bedroom at the front. Parking is first come first served so could be tricky at times.

This property is in an excellent location in Helmsley and really well laid out. The kitchen was large, sitting room comfortable and the rear garden a bonus. There are two bedrooms & the bathroom is large and has a separate shower and bath tub.

The location was brilliant , just a few steps from the centre of a beautiful little Yorkshire town and on the edge of the moors .

The never ending emails with far too much information which was then repeated in the next email. Having to pay a damage waiver.

Well furnished very clean great location

Booked through booking.com but then had to also register with 'host and stay' and pay additional insurance deposit. Bit of a faff when I use booking.com for the ease of booking.

Nice, clean, simple, comfortable with charm. Very close to the main square which worked well. Nicely decorated. The instructions for the property were clear.

I think generally for the sake of a few quid, providing some dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and shower gel is a fairly basic ask. Two coffee pods also for the duration felt like rations. Who shows up for a two night stay with dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid?? These stays are not cheap and when you have to head out to the Coop for what would seem a few simple essentials it dents the experience unnecessarily. I would suggest they are a little more generous - or add a £5 to the rate and provide a little welcome pack or something.
