Spacious, clean. Lovely enclosed garden. Plenty kitchen equipment.

Some of the pans were dirty. The shower temperature was difficult to control. Shower cubicle and tray were not the cleanest either.

"Superb"

Wee gem of a cottage in the beautiful village of Helmsley which has lots to offer. Willow Cottage is fully appointed, cosy and comfy. The enclosed garden was great for our dog to go wander about in. 💯 would recommend and return

"wonderful short break"

The central location The decor and furnishings The garden and access to it Large airy rooms cleanliness Quiet neighbourhood Good facilities in the cottage

on street parking , busy road to find a spot TV couldn’t get live access , had to watch on iPlayer etc. Not the end of the world though as hardly watched any tv maybe a full length mirror would be good

"Superb"

Great location, comfy beds, very well equipped, lovely garden, just perfect.

Just the bathroom lock was a little stiff and tricky to lock and open.

"Relaxing short break in Willow cottage & Helmsley."

Willow cottage is in an excellent location, just a small walk into Helmsley & parking straight outside. Helmsley is a friendly village with excellent eating & drinking.

This cottage is in the perfect location, the village centre is only just around the corner. It is very clean and well presented, there is everything you could need in the kitchen. The garden is delightful with a lovely seating area. We would definitely stay here again. We were able to park outside, sometimes at the other side of the road but that was fine.

Our only small gripe would be that the shower temperature is difficult to adjust, the power of the shower is good. It’s not enough of an issue to deduct a star from the rating.
