We booked 2 units. The kitchen "table" in 1 unit was a wobbly and very poor quality tiny bar table. It was difficult to sit at and made the experience feel low quality. Also we had missing items sponges, washing up liquid and things you'd expect like teabags for kettle. One of the units had a nice living room area with l shaped sofa which was really comfy, the other one was so so. The worst thing about the stay was how cold we were. Even with heaters on high in April, we froze. Also the booking process was really really misleading. The owner actually rents several different properties on the same listing and the others are not to the same standard as the one whose photos show up on the booking first. It is really really easy to book the place assuming you'd be getting that nice living room with wood burner fire - but that's not what happens. If you click too fast you'll be assigned a different cottage and you don't even realize it until you get there. So then you are paying much more for a cottage that didn't meet expectations. I just felt that that listing is very misleading. The owner could easily have listed each cottage as a separate property on booking.com or been more clear in the listing. The photos could be labeled with numbers showing which photo belongs to each cottage. Also, we had indicated we had 3 people in our booking when we went to book- one was a child (teen). When we went to book we said 2 adults and a child and the property came up. We arrived to be told that actually the child has to be like under 1, This wasn't clearly indicated as a restriction on the listing and also the booking engine did not prevent us from booking. So my son had to sleep on a sofa. Like I said I had though I booked the nice place with the stove that slept 3 people. So just be ultra ultra careful before selecting the BOOK button and be sure you know what you are getting.

Very peaceful surroundings with views and sounds of the countryside. Located within easy reach (via car) of various popular walks in the Brecon Beacons. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The property was dirty and did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The fridge, freezer, and oven were disgustingly dirty. Also, inconsistent hot water—only running for a minute before turning cold.. Which was also frustrating..

Me and my partner loved everything about our stay at this property it was one of the best weekends away we've ever had

A spacious and comfortable apartment for two people, located in a quiet area close to Abergavenny. Good kitchen facilities and convenient parking nearby. The host was welcoming and helpful.
