Pen-Y-Worlod Cottages

A spacious and comfortable apartment for two people, located in a quiet area close to Abergavenny. Good kitchen facilities and convenient parking nearby. The host was welcoming and helpful.

The friendly warm welcome that we received from Alison. The fire was lit, the cottage was cosy, and an added bottle of bubbly really went down amazing. Fabulous location, and modern, cosy and warm 😀

Lovely relaxing cottage

Even though we did not have the weather there was no where to sit outside.

The cottage was well decorated and was very cosy Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans etc Lovely location with views of hills

Not able to use the toilet upon arrival as it was blocked. This was rectified early evening, but was still not flushing correctly until next day, when it was fixed (I did say I was ok to wait until the following day) Not able to control the heating as there was no thermostat in the cottage, the owner had to adjust it next door No washing machine despite stating on booking.com one was available TV signal constantly dropped out, making it unwatchable Spotted a few ants in kitchen area Toilet brush was unusable as it was very dirty There was no guest book available with details of checkout time and wifi code. No mirror in bedroom. So difficult to straighten hair.

Was absolutely spotless clean and had everything you require gutted we could only stay for 1 night. The log fire in the cottage was so so so so good x

Firstly we were welcome by Alison who showed us to our cottage. It was a lovely surprise to have a bottle of Prosecco on ice waiting (which was very much enjoyed) the cottage was very comfortable, warm & equipped with everything we could need. The hottub was a very nice treat also. The sheep & horses in the field at side of is always gorgeous to see. We highly recommend a stay here. We will most certainly come back again later in the year.

It's not a bad thing, & no fault of the hosts, just that the sat navigation had us driving around in circles. Once in Llanfoist follow the directions Alison gives you. We travelled up in the evening so being dark meant we couldn't see the signs but just a quick call to Allison & we were sorted.

The cottage was immaculate. We loved the layout and it was very cosy. The bathroom and kitchen were very modern and clean. We were greeted upon arrival. The views were fabulous.

I loved everything about the property. Everywhere was spotless, very easy destination and hotel tub was very clean.
