Symonds Yat West Holiday Cottage 8 WRC with views of Yat Rock

The house was in a perfect location with walks on the doorstep. The communal garden was very peaceful.

Nothing It was all positive

There was an electric shower but no hot water in taps due to broken boiler. We have tried to complain for a small refund for this and but they have not accepted it. Also poor wifi (shared with property next door). It is of course a lovely location but we wished we had stayed somewhere else in the end unfortunately.

The views were absolutely amazing. So much to do in the area we were out all day. Beds very comfortable, lovely log fire for the evening. Nice little seating area just outside the front door. Bits for dogs like blankets, food/water bowls and treats. Cabinet full of board games etc. private garage to park your car.

Nothing we didn't want to leave

Very well equipped cottage in a fantastic location with stunning views. Superb local walks along the river and through the forest. Great communication with the host. We had a small hitch with the hot water on arrival but the host was very proactive and this was quickly resolved. Very comfortable and clean with nice decor. Private garage under the property was a bonus.

A great location and well stocked kitchen. Good communication. Good for dogs!

Property was a bit tired. Could do with a bit of a smarten up throughout. Still, very welcoming and functional.

Location is great, lots of lovely walks direct from the property

Beautiful location with great views. Great pubs close by and backs onto woodland that makes exploring easy. Kitchen was fully equipped and a dishwasher made life easier.

Bed was too soft for my taste. Decor in kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom a little tired but for the cost it’s fine. I was too busy staring at the view to care.
