Birchwood Cottage with hot tub

Very spacious and comfortable. Good location.

The kitchen would benefit from an update. Cupboards were looking very tired and under the sink smelled a bit damp.

I liked the location as there were many places to walk. It was central to so many things. The property was quite secluded and private. The cottage was lovely inside and very comfortable. The back garden was fully enclosed which was wonderful as it also had a hot tub to relax into after a long day walking.

The BBQ gas cylinder was broken and it was not possible to have a BBQ. We had taken BBQ foods but had to cook in the oven. The broken cylinder was reported and after 2 days we were provided with instant BBQ's. There were only 2 outdoor loungers when the property does actually sleep 6 people. The garden table and chairs were old and the wood was splintered which was not ideal to be seated on. The other issue was the pot holes along the long path to the property.

Lovely location and size of property and plot. Plenty of storage enough chairs and sofas in the property.

Worn out and not maintained, dirty throughout and furniture not moved during cleaning. Hot tub not working correctly, head rests missing, dirty cloudy water. Leaking kitchen sink that smelt of mould. Freezer door left operand was full of ice. Couldn't close door without melting ice. No tea, coffee milk or any supplies at property on arrival.

Peace and quiet, enclosed garden for our dogs to have a sniff about whilst we were in the hot tub. Beds very comfortable, living room very cosy.

Just missing a frying pan in the selection of pans

I stayed at this cottage for a couple of nights with two of my friends. There was nothing we didn't like about this cottage. It was situated in a perfect location, not far from the beach with very quiet surroundings which we all loved. Very easy to find too. We can't wait to come back...

The cottage could do with a lick of paint but that didn't put us off from deciding we want to come back again!
