Birchwood Cottage with hot tub

The location to the area we wanted to explore was very good, and the property was in quite spot

The property was in a poor condition, needs a lot of tlc to bring it up to a standard we thought we were paying for. Needs a good clean, especially the main bath room. It was that bad my wife tried to give it a clean. But we still wouldn't use.

The jacuzzi was lovely, the enclosed back garden was great for our dog. All the beds were really comfy.

in need of updating in kitchen, bathroom and needs more electric sockets everywhere. I struggled to find a mirror and a electric socket near each other that I could reach to do my hair.

Excellent location, Nice house and excellent hot tub

Arrival process was difficult, having received an email with full directions but no mention of how we get in we had to chase several times for code only to be told that we would not get it before paying a £160.00 deposit which again is different to what is informed. House is a nice house we have been before 2 years ago, however no work has clearly been done in the 2 years . The house is in need of decoration and a coat of paint, more fundamentally is that the cleanliness was appalling. Mould in the bathrooms and dirty showers are easy to fix .

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. The hot tub was awesome.

The cottage was starting to look a bit tired. It needed a lick of paint and new kitchen floor.

Spacious property with large garden and beautiful views. Cows and a bull in fields off back garden, and views to some waters from fronts. Log burner was excellent as we had bad weather ( bring your own wood ) . Hot tub was a fancy one! Beds were spotless and very comfy. There's a jacuzzi bath, and the shower in the main bathroom has horizontal and vertical jets.

The hot water wasn't hot enough for how I like it. There's a cupboard on back of property that kept blowing open, it bangs quiet loudly and didn't lock. We popped a chair in front of it in the end. Not sure if I miss read something when booking but was contacted after to pay a £150 refundable deposit. May well be I didn't read it properly though.

the property ticked all the boxes was as described, i would highly recommend and stay again

It was a lovely place peaceful hot tub was a bonus really nice break would recommend it was gem not far from.local amenities either.
