"Good for an Overnight stay"

7.0

The house feels cosy and vintage. The beds were comfortable Basic cooking essentials like oil, salt & pepper were provided. It’s nearby town centre and the closest grocery story is just across the road. There’s a pretty garden outside where guests can sit and enjoy..

Some of the plates, mugs and utensils in the kitchen were not properly cleaned. We had to clean them before using. Noted that there was no dishwasher in the kitchen but owner should at least provide a dish drying rack for easier cleaning. No detergent provided for the washing machine.

"Very good"

It was an excellent and well kept cottage. Good standard and very enjoyable.

It was generally absolutely lovely. The only issue was we had no phone service / data and the Wi-Fi didn't work when we were there so little things like we couldn't search local area.

Kind host left a cream tea and milk in the fridge, property was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Good location, visited the local hostelries and all the locals we met were friendly and helpful

Shower wasn’t easy to operate and I wasn’t able to connect to a WiFi, though I am not overly tech savvy

"Overall enjoyed my stay , great location great value for money."

No breakfast - it was accommodation only as stated but a lovely little cosy cottage with everything I needed to cook for myself. The bed was really comfortable as was the sofa /great for relaxing after a day out ,then watching tv.

The only thing was that I couldn't get the shower to run hot until the landlady showed me the 'special technique' the next day then it was fine !
