Mourne Magic House-Riverside luxury in Newcastle

Great location, Very clean and thought of every detail. Loved sitting out at the decking beside the peaceful riverside. Beautiful comfortable home.

Beautiful rural location very remote. Plenty of taxi companies running locally to get into Newcastle, with great restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from. Very good communication with the hosts and lovely welcome basket and milk in the fridge on arrival was a very nice. All so well thought of thank you!

Amazing location, luxurious finishes, really comfortable. We loved our stay, our 4 year old is still asking to go back to “the adventure house” We definitely be back and would recommend to everyone!

Stayed at Mourne Magic House for a girls weekend. We have stayed in Newcastle many times before but this was definitely a step up on anywhere else in the area. House is very spacious and had amazing views of the Mournes. Beautiful decking out the back where we enjoyed the first signs of spring. Mourne Magic House is on a quiet country road just outside Newcastle. We ate at the Maghera Inn, which was less than 2 mins away. Best to book a reservation as it is very popular especially at weekends. Beds were honestly the best we ever slept on. House has dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, pretty much everything is covered by Anna and Marty who were wonderful hosts. We have already booked for 2026!

Amazing relaxing place to stay after climbing the mountain. Everything you need available can not fault it in anyway, just perfect 👍🏼

House heated up quickly with the boost button. Beds were very comfy and we enjoyed the snacks left for us.

Very comfortable and amazing surroundings, great nights sleep before tackling the mountains.
