De afgelegen plek en de rust. Kamers ruim genoeg. Fijne zitkamer

Het is best moeilijk te vinden. De weg naartoe is ook vrij smal en een tractor gaat niet aan de kant hebben we gemerkt.

Superb location to lake of menteith which was the reason for our visit.

Living room could do with updating, sofas old and stained - we didn’t use this room. Outside furniture was on its last legs - we were 6 years so more outside chairs would have been beneficial.

The cottage was very cosy and clean. Had everything you needed. Beautiful location. Very comfortable beds.

It was perfect for what our family needed. There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. Highly recommend.

The location at Cardross was great for us with the dog. Easy dog walking straight out of the property. Very tranquil atmosphere and just a nice place to stop. The bedrooms were great and one evening was quite cold - but the small wood burner worked a treat. The property has a great deal to be pleased about but we were a bit disappointed by the level of cleanliness of some of the crockery in the kitchen cupboards. My wife was not happy with this and washed cups, saucers, plates etc. A nice touch from the owners was a small 'welcome basket' which even had a small bottle of good whisky! Depite our slight disappointment with the level of cleanliness mentioned above I would stay here again. The washing machine etc were a welcome bonus

Unfortunately the hot water system failed, the plumbing appears a bit dated , the host did refund some of the cost due to this

Great location close to Stirling, Blair Drummond and Loch Lomond. Nearby to Loch Monteith and Nick Nairns restaurant. Farmhouse was in a lovely location in well tended grounds. Both showers and bathroom were clean and modern.

Downstairs a little bit shabby and tired. Sitting room couches were stained and scruffy.

Location was good, view was lovely. Everything was clean and tidy, the property was nicely presented from the outside and was an adequate size for our needs. We couldn't find the remote for the TV, a question was sent through the app and we had it found with the owners help within an hour.

Kitchen was inadequate, not enough kitchen ware, no baking tray in the oven and no kitchen amenities. Decor was tired and worn, burns on the carpet, paint peeling in the bathroom. Furniture was cheap and well past it's best. The missing remote showed the cottage hadn't been cleaned properly
