"Very well managed and maintained property."

10.0

Lovely property for the price paid - plenty of room and spotlessly clean. Goodies really appreciated as we arrived quite late. Heating came on automatically when the temperature dropped so we were very comfortable. The location is in the country so quiet and lovely views of farmland and the mountains.

"Slightly tired facilities but otherwise a fabulous place to stay on holiday."

7.0

Location was fab, providing privacy and lovely views. The outside space was great for the kids to play. Ash and Hawthorn Cottages were attractive from the outside and worked brilliantly as they are interconnected so the whole family could enjoy being together while also being able to have enough space from each other. Beds were very comfortable. Laundry facilities were super helpful in the adjoining utility room. Provisions of tea, coffee, welcome basket of goodies, towels, washing up liquid, loo roll, clothes washing tablets, tea towel and oven glove were all very welcome and made for a comfortable stay. A pint of milk to make a cuppa on arrival would have been helpful as the only other provision to suggest.

General living area and kitchen in particular could do with updating (as well as a few more place settings so you donโ€™t have to constantly wash up) as they are letting down what is otherwise a beautiful cottage and holiday experience.

"Great location, accommodation pleasant but in need of some TLC"

6.0

Once the admin glitch was sorted out we had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent.

The first night in the smaller property was very good, but the decor and cleanliness of the property we stayed in (the one we actually booked) was not great - the settees were stained and patchy as was the paintwork and outside seating was in poor condition. We thank the efforts made to rectify the issues with the booking on arrival but a little disappointed by the actual accommodation which appeared tired and in need of some rejuvenation.

"Relaxed holiday"

8.0

Location is excellent for walking and hiking as not far from Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Park. Love the garden and relaxed feel to the place.wifi is good. Water is hot and shower is good

Some utensils are old and the sofa is a bit dated. Storage heaters downstairs but there is a fire if cold.

"Arnvicar, Ash and the Byre"

6.0

We had 2 houses Arnvicar and Ash, plus the Byre to let us spread out. All lovely in a good location for peace and touring. Made use of log fires in the Byre and Ash. Although heating was adequate it was nice to get a log fire going in the evening. BBQs also came in handy for an evening meal out on the lawn. A check in issue was promptly dealt with and the holiday enjoyed by all.

Personally we prefer softer mattresses and firmer pillows.
