Bike facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer, good wifi and tv, excellent view, comfortable beds, great location

Loved the location and size. The cottage was very cosy, comfortable and warm. Plenty of privacy and parking room. Kitchen was a good size and was well equipped. Good size fridge freezer.

We knew the property was older when booking and it is getting a revamp soon according to owner. But things that could be improved were possibly the shower pressure, new carpets and a kitchen modernisation. Also sofas and chairs were past their best. But nothing drastic.

The location was very peaceful and in the countryside. We liked the independence allowing us to come and go as we pleased. We liked that we could bring our puppy with us .

We are a family of 4 we cooked in the cottage but there were only 3 plates and three bowls to eat off The glasses were minimal too. The welcome basket looked lovely on the booking.com photos, however when we arrived the basket only contained 1 packet of shortbread and some fudge. I was disappointed as it was my husband's birthday and thought this was a nice touch. There was a beautiful log burner in the cottage, our plan after arriving late after a long drive was to relax in front of the fire, however there was only 1 log, we were disappointed, however the cottage was lovely and warm.

Very cosy cottage in an idyllic location just south of Port of Menteith. We loved staying on a working farm. The animals were so characterful. There are a couple great restaurants just down the load (Nick Nairns and Karma hotel).

Location was great. Fantastic views of the hills and countryside. Perfect for dogwalking.

Location is not close to any shops or pubs.

The peace was wonderful, the cottage was very cosy and had all the things needed for a great stay. Shower room was super.

Maybe wasn’t as updated as some other places I had been to with some tired / stained sitting room furniture but it was fine for our needs.

Beautiful location. Spacious. Very comfortable and homely. Secure, large garden for the dog to run around in.

Beds were a little hard but this was very minor

The location and the indoor/outdoor space, and the generous welcome gift pack. The customer service was very good and staff were warm and quick to respond to messages. Also agreed to a late checkout on the Sunday which was very helpful.

The oven and cooker hood weren’t especially clean, and the rug in the lounge was covered in pet hair. The rest of the property was very clean. It would also have been good to have pre warning that the access road in one direction was closed.

The quiet. The beauty of the surroundings. The easy access to area.

Bed could have been softer. Would have liked additional lighted blankets as the duvets were hot.
