Tarporley Holiday Cottage

The cottage is very cosy and well equipped and really conveniently located in a beautiful village with shops, pubs, and countryside walks on the doorstep. Kids loved the Xbox and games room. Excellent communication from the owner.

Parking was very tight for two cars. The basement rooms smelt a bit musty.

Location and space was very quiet area

Home could of done with a tidy up oven was missed being cleaned before we turned up and a few cobwebs around the wall to ceiling lines

Lovely place to stay for a big group of us. Hosts were very good at responding to messages and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Brilliant location, spacious and very lovely house. Very well equipped .

Carpet in one of the bedrooms required cleaning but everything else was lovely.

Location was perfect for the wedding we were attending, house was clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels and bedding etc. baby items like bed and high chair where included. Spacious house, comfortable. Village located in was lovely. Park included and shops etc

Couldn’t control the temper of water so Child burnt themselves when washing hands after the loo. Also the top rooms were Extremely hot, made it difficult to sleep with small children as we couldn’t open the windows as they had no safety catches on so couldn’t risk them falling out. No fans etc. We have a larger car due to family size and couldn’t get in to the house to park, one neighbour was rude and told us off as it was a private road, So we parked on the main road which was difficult with small children but not a big deal. Tv and internet didn’t work over the weekend. Tv wouldn’t show any channels and the apps crashed after a minute of playing it. Information Book provided states the house has a gas oven. It’s electric only the hob is gas. No gate on the side of the house so couldn’t let the children or dog play in the garden.

Nothing major, just a few tweaks that I have communicated to the host who has already responded. Excellent communicator.

Excellent property for a visit to Oulton Park. We had four in our party but could easily accommodate a lot more. Communication with the owner was first class with a rapid response to any queries we had. Pubs and shops just around the corner.

We had a great stay at Tarporley Holiday Cottage, a group of adults and children. The location was great with some lovely pubs and a short drive to Chester for a wedding we were attending. The house had everything we needed and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Dave was a great host and quick to answer any questions.

It’s a lovely cottage with plenty of space , the floor heating was is the best part of the cottage. Easy communication with the owner and lovely location. Shops and pubs close by as well, there is a lovely local coffee shop close by.

It’s a lovely cottage but it requires some maintenance, a coffee machine would be nice to have.
