Victoria Cottage

Location was brilliant, near station and town but in peaceful side street. Cottage contained everything we needed for our short stay and appliances were easy to use.

My only observation is that the stairs are very steep which could pose a problem for young children or elderly visitors.

No breakfast provided.

As expected. Small, central very comfortable. Unlocking the key safe difficult in wet windy weather.

Property was 5 mins walk to the centre of York

Nothing was perfect

The location was superb; close to the historic centre of York, but quiet as well.

The internal stairs were quite steep.

Beautiful accommodation in a very quiet neighbourhood. We appreciated the Christmas decorations as we stayed over Christmas.

There is nothing we disliked and don’t want to be unfair but could have done with some cleaning products ie Surface spray, bleach for the toilet? Just like to keep it up to standard! Also the heating timing needs sorting as was coming in in the night and was too warm!!

Location, clean nice to have Christmas tree

Not enough toilet paper, not enough dish washer soap not enough coffee or tea for length of stay. Need more garbage bags - more streaming platforms with accessibility (with password)

We just needed extra toilet paper. Otherwise, excellent stay!
