The Lodge

We used this property / location as a base to travel around the Y. Dales,Moors,N.Pennines on motorbikes. Other than the shower,TV and beds etc we didn't use any of the facilities provided but they looked in good condition. The water for the shower (step over bath etc)/sinks was always hot. We enjoyed our stay here and had good communication with the owners. The local pubs, adjacent Black Sheep Brewery/Fish & Chip bar do have restricted opening hours so its best to check /perhaps consider booking but there's always the local Co-Op which was well stocked. The accommodation was not effected by the adjacent Brewery. There is a petrol station in Masham.

Location was ideal. Quiet location yet very near to Black Sheep Brewery / Bistro and White Bear Hotel and only 5 minutes walk to centre of Masham, which has all you need. The Lodge is well equipped and very comfortable. Hosts are very welcoming and communicative.

Great base for traveling to other places. Masham itself is quaint and small but very friendly people. The lodge was clean and tidy with everything you needed while been away from home. Nice little touch was the biscuits and bottle of beer left for our arrival, loved that it was a 30 second walk to The Black Sheep Brewery and The White Bear a couple of minutes walk both served lovely food and a great selection of ales.

Bed was slightly uncomfortable for me.

Perfect location - almost in Black Sheep car park AND only a few minutes from the Black Bull in Paradise and the White Bear. Comfortable bed and great shower and good to have a parking space.

Everything you need for an enjoyable weekend, 5 min walk to market square, 3 min walk to white bear hotel for good food and drinks. Have stayed at the lodge previously and will definitely be back, tea, coffee, milk and sugar supplied fresh croissants as well. Wonderful property.

Lovely cosy little cottage , in a great location

Excellent location. Provided all the home comforts. Very comfy bed. Host, Andrew, provided welcome gifts and communication was excellent.

Nothing. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area.
