Quiet area yet close to the city. Safe to walk back tk flat at night

The location so close to town was good and to be able to park a car. Great communication from host prior to visit and was able to get an earlier check in - which was much appreciated.

Whilst the property is desperate in need of redecorating, that could have been overlooked if the property had been clean - but it was not. There was a really bad smell on entering the property and all of the surfaces in the kitchen were sticky to touch and there was still signs of previous occupants. I had to clean the crockery from out of the cupboard before I could use it. Whilst the kitchen appeared well stocked with utensils etc again some of these had not been cleaned and so were not usable. The carpet was very dirty and marked. The curtain poles were coming away from the wall and I had to be very careful whilst drawing the curtains to make sure they did not fall on me. The bedding was really pilled which made it uncomfortable against the skin. Both the lounge and the twin bedroom could do with blinds for privacy purposes. Whilst it is listed as sleeps 6 I would not want to stay there with six people.

The property need better and modern furniture

The location was excellent for the BIC, within short walking distance of lots of places to eat and there was a small supermarket very nearby also. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were perfectly well-sized for our family and the single beds were a bonus. Parking in front of the building was convenient.

Apart from a few surface imperfections the property was clean and well- maintained. There was sufficient kitchen equipment. There was nothing to dislike.

The deco is lovely, the kitchen is nice to cook in and the lounge great to relax in if you're not going out. Great that there is a downstairs toilet and a dishwasher which is handy. The beds were super comfortable and the the temperature for the winter was nice and could be adjusted. The location is great for heading into town and walking down to the beach - just be prepared for the hilly walk back up to the top end of town - but not a negative at all.

It was a basic apartment that could do with a bit of a refresh - there was a little bit of mould in the bathroom and the bigger room with the TV would probably serve better as the adult room with the double bed, but then there wouldn't be enough room in the other room for two single beds - layout could do with being looked at. The lamp in the main room was on the floor - could do with a bedside table and there wasn't enough plug sockets around the room. The kickboard in the kitchen was hanging off and there was a horrible smell coming from the downstairs toilet area. No bin nags were provided which we found a bit odd, even though you're asked to empty the bins.

The location was excellent for town and having parking spot was a bonus. The kitchen was clean and everything you would need. Having WIFI and TV channels was a bonus.

Bit noisy with business next door. little chilly in kitchen.
