Bagstone Court Barn

We have stayed in this property twice now and would definitely stay again, James is a perfect host and really helpful, we would recommend this place to everyone who wants a lovely relaxing break

Free parking and space to park in secure location The surrounding outside space where could sit and watch the ducks on the pond. The host also got us out extra chairs to be able to do this and pillows for the chairs were kept in the property The place itself was very spacious and good size bathrooms with both bath and shower There were blackout blinds in the rooms The kitchen was well equipped even with a dishwasher The host had equipped us with the basics of milk, butter and jams. As well as washing up liquid and tablets for the dishwasher The area was pretty clean It was warm Bedding was very luxurious felt like feather duvet. The host was in touch frequently and nothing seemed too much trouble. Gave local taxi numbers and had good local area knowledge to help us get to the wedding venue we were staying for. Enough space to hang clothes and hangers for this if needed Tvs in bedrooms.as well as shared lounge area

I couldn't find bread/chopping board but that is me being really picky because its one thing I needed, but I may not have been looking in the right place. Sorry James if this is incorrect. The pressure in the showers is not the best. Maybe a better shower head would support this. The spray was a bit too fine. Floor boards are creaky and a bit uneven so you can hear everyone walking around the place. Walls and doors are very thin so you can hear your friends moving about to the bathroom and kitchen. Means you have to creep about or listen to those that don't know how to 😄 The hair/hand towels were very scratchy and starchy. Could do with new ones. Luckily bath towels were not as bad.

James is a excellent host. The property is fantastic. The little details such milk in the fridge and bread in the breadbin make all the difference. There were many books available to read and DVD's to watch. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, and will certainly stay again next time we are in the area.

There was nothing not to like.

Location perfect and great that everything was on one level due to mobility issues. Except for initial step.

Quite a big step up for someone with hip problems.

Ideal for my requirements. The accommodation is like a home from for me and I feel very settled. James is an excellent host, very kind and caring.

James is a very welcoming host. The property sits in a quiet location with nice views. The property was clean, warm and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly.

great location, great host James provided excellent facilities (coffee machine, cafetiere, breakfast items) very large interior space with two large rooms and a comfy lounge! couldn't ask for more

clean, comfortable, felt safe, owner on site and very helpful.

Just personal preference, but we would have preferred the dining/kitchen doors to have had curtains/blinds. We didn’t like the black outside. Bagstone Court was difficult to find in the dark.

The hosts were so incredibly helpful and even though it was a trip where the guests were working very long hours, the hosts were accomodating of this and still provided an exceptional service.

Nothing at all. All services were 5* and if / when we need accomodation in the area again we will be looking to check if Bagstone Court is available first.
