Bagstone Court Barn

We used Bagstone Barn for a short break as a base to attend a wedding; within minutes of arrival, we wished we were staying longer. Tge greeting from our exceptional host was just the start of a wonderful stay. Comfortable, spotless and much larger than the photos portray.

I would have to be really picky to find a negative about Bagstone Court Barn; a definite 10 out of 10

The location was good for walking the Cotswold way and cycling quiet lanes. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. As we were staying with another couple it was good to have separate bathrooms. The accommodation is across the grounds from the picture shown. It is secure and we were able to store our cycles in the garage.

The lounge is on the small side,however as the weather was very good we did not use it a lot. Extra crockery, cutlery and glasses would be helpful especially as there is a dishwasher

Fantastic location and within a 10/15 min drive of Bristol. Close to Bath and for exploring other areas. Accommodation is great and has everything you need including an initial breakfast pack to start if arriving late. The owner is located on a property on the same site and is available to answer any questions you have about the property or the surrounding area. Made to very welcome for each of our 3 visits.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property

James was brilliant and very welcoming when we arrived, and the kitchen came with some bread, milk and jam to get us started which was brilliant. The place was very comfortable with nice beds, and a full bath in both bathrooms was a big plus I wasn't expecting (especially at the end of long days out).

A clean, warm, welcoming property, very good beds and linen. Very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The owners are friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

Generous space - much larger than the photos would suggest. Everything is thought of, from coffee through to shower gel. Friendly and unobtrusive host. Easy parking and a lovely outlook across fields

No issues really but what stops us giving a 10? Bit dusty in places (e.g behind the TV and in the corners of the rooms) but in fairness it's a large space. The water pressure in the guest bathroom shower is rather low.

Lovely property within easy reach of Bristol. Very warm welcome from the owner. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. The lounge was small in comparison but we were there for such a short time that this aspect did not affect us. The underfloor heating was much appreciated as it was a cold, wet weekend.

The shower in the ensuite was not up to its intended task!
