Brackenrigg Lodge

It was clean, homely and the hot tub was great.

Nothing it was lovely

It was very cosy and private.

Nice inside loads of room bed was comfortable bathroom great balcony and view was lovely

Hot tub not hot enough as electric was off when we got there so we cudnt use it the first night! 2nd night was just 30 but u can imagine in the open it was just warm not happy as we were looking forward to a relaxing weekend in the hot tub

Location brilliant. The electrics went off which was inconvenient but the host was straight on to it & it came back on pretty quick.

The lodge needs updating, the radio speakers in the hot tub were not working.The outdoor cushions were wet so unable to sit on them.

Not very good lightening around log cabin

Easy, everything!!! The lodge was amazing, bigger than usual bedrooms, bathroom, and living space. The log burner was just the cherry on the top. The hot tub was beautiful and well maintained. The location could not have been better. We were right over the river with a panoramic view of that and the field behind. On the first frosty sunny morning from the hot tub we saw, deer , fox, kestrel, squirrels, and a heron, it was like watching a nature documentary from our window. We could not fault anything. Everything you needed for a few days away. The beds were so comfortable and everywhere was lovely and clean. The park is lovely with a pub serving food, we got a local takeaway and it was lovely and delivered to our door. There are lots of lovely walks and things to do in the local area. We had an absolutely amazing time and are already looking at rebooking (only going to request a later checkout time because we didn't want to leave). Highly recommended and, in our opinion, fantastic value for money.
