Brackenrigg Lodge

LOVELY! Can’t fault the place. Had a fantastic stay, would definitely go back. Lovely site as well. Perfect!

Lodge was decorated homely and cosy, hot tub perfect. Double bed very comfortable. Nice full size fridge.

It wasn't very clean. Dust on table and woodwork. We had to get up onto dining chairs with brush to remove cobwebs and remove loads of dead moths spiders flies. Sofa also quite uncomfortable .

Hot Tub was great, nice site location

Wasn’t the cleanest, one of the towels left on bed had a poo stain on it, there was some leaves and dirt in one of the beds, the toilet brush in bathroom is disgusting, every time you use it where black rust that comes out, needs replacing. The cushions on the sofa have feathers poking out they keep pricking you as you sit down.

Spacious, clean and comfortable

Everything! Great location! Two pubs, one was a little shop. The big pub has bingo on and a games room for kids ( we didn’t need this ) There is a big play park too for children. All of the park was clean and tidy. Lodge was lovely - had everything we needed. Very cosy - there is a log fire but we were lucky with the weather so never used it. The hot tub was private and we were facing woodlands. It was beautiful we saw deer, birds, pheasant and a big owl went swooping by one night when we were in the hot tub.

It was very private and well equipped We had quite high expectations as it looked amazing on the website and we we’re definitely wowed! It was perfect in every way!

There was nothing to fault

Good location. Very clean and smelt nice. Comfortable bed.

Would’ve liked a microwave and couldn’t get bath water to run hot. Loved the big windows but maybe some blinds/curtains would’ve made it a bit cosier after dark
