Brackenrigg Lodge

The lodge was clean, spacious and very private. Hot tub was lovely as was the view. It was lovely and warm on the cold nights.

There wasn't a lot of cooking utensils or silver wear. The shower door kept opening and water going down side on floor . The dishwasher draw was broken.

Perfect little place beautifully kept in side. Everything you need. Gorgeous views will definitely be back.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was fabulous once again. We love how quiet the location is, and how the hot tub and living area overlooks open land. It provided absolute bliss to switch off for a few days. Rooms are very comfortable and everything provided that could possibly be needed.

Lovely lodge, just like the pictures. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was all lovely and warm. Nice big sofa and fantastic views from the hot tub/decking area, felt very private and 'in nature'. Nice to have a wood burner, although make sure you have v small logs, the ones I brought from home were a bit too big to fit in

The hot tub didn't seem particularly clean (a few large noticeable 'floaty algae bits') and the man who came round at the end of our stay just very quickly checked the chlorine levels and left, definitely no 'changing the water' as the lodges instruction book suggested... Also not really enough kitchen utensils/cutlery for proper cooking, fine for re-heating/cooking in saucepans tho.

Great location and hot tub

Heating wasn’t on when we arrived . Was only 4 degrees . Sorted very quickly by host but took 24 hours to reach 19 degrees so first night was very uncomfortable
